Hi, I am Helena Kirk, a 16 year old cancer survivor and childhood cancer advocate.

My Mom and I are the Co-Founders of Helena's Hope which has a mission to find more pathways for kids to survive cancer and lead long and healthy lives.

Helena's Hope was successful in our advocacy to get the federal government to invest $30 million dollars in childhood cancer. Our next step is to work in partnership with CIHR, Health Canada, pediatric oncology clinicians and researchers to implement our plan. The plan has consesus from 150 families and 40 organizations in Canada and can be viewed here:
